I love your quote that dupes are made for testing!! First off, even when I buy a dupe I never feel satisfied. I still want the real one because a dupe doesn’t quite scratch the itch. Second, I bought a dupe if a very expensive handbag that I was lusting over. Turns out, I didn’t love the shape. Now I know not to keep lusting over the real one because the dupe was a $100 test that was successful in that I knew I didn’t want the real one anymore!

I love this for you! Yes, using dupes as a way to test new styles as your personal style evolves is key. I agree with you, if something is truly "me," investing in the quality item is usually the best longterm and financial play to ensure a strong cost per wear.

Yes! Cost per wear is sometimes less with the nicer items because you actually wear them! I’ve worn my Prada nylon purse for over 7 years with small kids. That cost per wear is now effectively negative :)

And I booked a consult with you for Monday since I’m in Chicago and am excited to chat with you live!

Great question! The most common would be cotton, linen, silk, wool -- we are seeing lots of synthetics mixed in so if you can't find all natural options opt for items that are majority natural fibers. As we enter fall/winter cashmere and mohair are great sweater options!
