This week, we’re covering how to edit and refine your wardrobe at home. Let’s get into it!

Step 1: Pull Everything Out by Category

Editing your wardrobe is easiest when you break it down into categories. Instead of overwhelming yourself by tackling your entire closet at once, go section by section. Try on each article of clothing and confirm that it fits, flatters, & feels good on you. If it doesn’t, it no longer serves you, so it’s time to find it a new home.

A few options: consign, donate, or recycle pieces that no longer work for you.

Step 2: Start with Shoes & Accessories

Why? Two reasons:

  1. Momentum! They’re the easiest to try on and edit, so you’ll build confidence for the harder categories ahead.

  2. Seasonal versatility. Shoes and accessories transition well between seasons, making them great foundational pieces.

When editing, ask yourself: Are these still in good condition? Do they align with my style? If not, let them go.
