How I Discovered My Personal Style (And How You Can Too)
A wardrobe stylist’s guide to evolving your look, loving your closet, and curating a style that actually feels like you.
People often ask how I discovered my personal style.
Part of me wants to say — I haven’t.
Because style, to me, is ever-changing. It evolves from season to season, even day to day. What felt right a year ago might not resonate now — and I actually love that. It keeps fashion alive.
I’m constantly playing dress up. Literally. I go to my closet and mix things up: textures, silhouettes, colors. I try unexpected pairings. I revisit old favorites. That process? It’s like hunting for hidden treasure. You know that feeling when you find the perfect jeans, a killer dress for an upcoming wedding, or even stumble on the best little coffee shop? It’s that sense of discovery that keeps life — and fashion — exciting.
That’s also why so many people fall into a constant need-to-shop cycle. They want that rush of discovery.
But here's the thing:
I’m in a constant phase of discovery when it comes to my style… but I don’t shop often.
I curate.
And I rewear my pieces to death.
